- MAC designations belong to legacy AC servo-motor systems where tacho and optional encoder fields can be configuration-critical.
- MDD designations belong to digital AC servo-motor systems where digital servo feedback fields are configuration-critical.
- The connected controller and feedback cable provide system evidence that the motor housing cannot.
